Moussa Poussy:  Tireye

Moussa Poussy was a singer for over twenty-five years. He started in 1980 in the a group called Johny Ali Maïga. With the National Orchestra of Niger he visited many west African countries in 1987. In 1989 he formed the group "Moussa Poussy et ses Poussykettes". He participated in several festivals and was the representative of Niger at the African-Caribbean festival in Togo in 1999. His first album Toro was published in 1990. In 1992 his CD Niamey Twice came out. In the 2003-2004 period he lived in France and he participated in the realisation of the album Ténéré of the group Bako from Toulouse. Moussa Poussy died in the hospital of Niamey Niger in June 2008 just before the release of his new album.

Ciray (written as Tireye) means red. The song is about Dongo (the thunder) The following text is given on the YouTube page :
